About this session
Welcome to a classic figure drawing session with Appleton Drawing Club! Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone looking to stretch their drawing skills and meet fellow artists. Join us and enjoy great lighting, music for focus, and a range of short to long poses from our wonderful model.
- Short to long poses (1-30 minutes)
- Unclothed model (must be 18+ years old or accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend)
- Bring your own easel and preferred art supplies, basic materials are available as a backup
- Untutored but beginner friendly! A session leader will be available to answer questions or provide other support.
Agenda
- Pre-session: find a spot and set up your materials!
- Welcome and introduction
- First set: Gesture warm-up poses (1-5 minute poses)
- Second set: Medium poses (10-15 minute poses)
- Third set: Longer poses (25-45 minute poses)
- Clean up and share your work on the drawing pile!
